  A reminder that if you would like to share your approach to addressing plagiarism with others via www.plagiarismadvice.org we'd like to hear from you. Proposals of approximately 250 words by 4 February please, full details below.

   

  PlagiarismAdvice.org is seeking contributions of content to enhance their website www.plagiarismadvice.org and would like to invite submissions for consideration from practitioners in all sectors.

  Submissions should be evidence-based and reflect current practice from within the academic community.

  Short proposals of around 250 words should be received by 4 February 2011, and will be subject to peer review by the PlagiarismAdvice.org International Advisory Board. Funding may be available for successful proposals from a minimum of £250 per project.

  Proposals outlining possible content for contribution are invited (but not restricted to) on the following topics:

  ·         Approaches to engaging students in discussions on plagiarism and academic integrity

  ·         Addressing plagiarism in non-text based disciplines.

  ·         Addressing academic plagiarism at all levels, including research.

  ·         Innovative means of assessment.

  ·         Formative approaches to using Turnitin.

  ·         Using Grademark in assessment for learning.

  ·         Addressing plagiarism in Web 2 technologies, such as wikis, blogs, and other social networking media.

  ·         Assessing the effectiveness of approaches to academic integrity.

   

  Successful proposals will be notified by email by 18 February 2011. 

   

  Content selected for inclusion on the PlagiarismAdvice.org website will be will be subject to an Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported Licence and PlagiarismAdvice.org will hold the copyright to any work submitted.
