Dear all,

You are invited to:

QUAVER 2011

The 2011 Quaternary Vertebrates meeting will take place at Liverpool John Moores University on June 14th-15th.

You are all invited to the 7th in a series of annual meetings in which Quaternary vertebrate workers have exchanged ideas and learnt about each others’ work.

This year’s two-day meeting will be structured as follows:

TALKS AND POSTERS

Tuesday 14th June – a day of short talks and poster sessions in the Peter Jost Centre (LJMU) off Byrom Street, Liverpool with teas, coffees and lunch provided.

Evening 14th June

In the evening those who wish can join in a communal meal (the price for this is not included in the registration fee) at the Ship and Mitre pub (this pub has an excellent international range of beers and we will have a dedicated area with a bar upstairs).

WORLD MUSEUM TOUR

Wednesday 15th June – a tour of selected fossil vertebrates in the collections of the World Museum, Liverpool (which includes material from excavations at Kent’s Cavern).

LOCATION

The Peter Jost Centre, LJMU (postcode L3 3AF), World Museum (National Museums Liverpool) and Ship and Mitre pub on Dale Street are all within a short walk of Liverpool Lime Street Railway Station.
