Dear Colleagues, I am setting up an optical cavity experiment in the mid-IR (say 7-8 um). Unfortunately, CRD mirrors in the mid-IR are not easy to get hold of, and they seem to be rather expensive. Are you aware of any suppliers? If there is an interest by other users as well, we could organise a custom batch coating and share the costs (which would bring down the cost per mirror considerably).
