Catholic Families in Britain: Patronage and Collecting Organized by Tessa Murdoch and John Martin Robinson Victoria & Albert Museum (originally scheduled for The Society of Antiquaries) Saturday 12 March 2011 This day-long seminar on 12th March 2011 will explore the role of Catholic families as centres of patronage in England from the 16th century and their important links with the European continent. The seminar is paving the way for an exhibition proposed for the Royal Academy of Arts, Burlington House entitled Catholic!
