a talk by CILIP Chief Executive Annie Mauger titled Partners and
partnerships, building the future CILIP.

About the speaker: Annie Mauger was appointed Chief Executive at
CILIP in October 2010. Annie worked in libraries in England and
Scotland for more than twenty years, becoming Head of Libraries and
Heritage for the City of York Council in 2000. She was Chief
Executive of the Museums, Libraries and Archives (MLA) Yorkshire
until its closure in 2009, and then worked as a consultant to
charities and public sector bodies on partnerships, governance,
change management and libraries. Annie has promoted the importance
of libraries to society as chair of both the Scottish and National
CILIP Community Services Group, has served on CILIP's Audit Panel
and has been an executive member of the Society of Chief Librarians.
Annie will talk about CILIP's future and about CILIP's
partnerships with its volunteers.
All CILIP in London Branch members and Career Development Group
(London & South East Divisions) members are invited to
attend. Non-members are also welcome to the talk, although they
will not be able to vote at the AGM.
