Sorry I should have been more explicit – more haste less communication! I am compiling an annual report which will go to elected members, partners and the public outlining the successes and achievements of the library service over the past year. The report needs to be succinct, accessible and most importantly readable – free from jargon and council speak. In the mid 1990s Essex produced a tabloid called “Library Issues” which is a great example of what I would like to do but I don’t have the resources.
Do any other library services produce a report which is aimed at non librarians and council officers?
Thanks again
