Here in Walsall we have just opened a new library funded by lottery money which does include a café but we have received no suitable applicants to run the café yet!

Subject: Calling all libraries with cafes
Hello
I'm planning for 2 new libraries here in Devon, which will have cafes. I would be interested to hear from any other library that has a café operated by an external supplier - do you take a concession, i.e. does the library/council take a percentage share of the supplier's profits if they are over a certain level?
If yes, what is the percentage you take?
