13210T Library & Repository Systems Officer / Library / North West / Temporary / £25,000 - 28,000 - A Higher Education establishment in the North-West is looking for a Library & Repository Systems Officer to play a key part in the implementation, customization and integration of new library business systems in particular the Institutional Repository. You will assist in the selection and development of library business systems with technical advice and recommendations on standards and integration issues. There will be particular emphasis on the analysis of out-of-the-box software functionality and the development and design of appropriate customization. You will be service-focused and a quick learner with good communication skills. You will have knowledge and/or expertise in some of the following web technologies, services and languages:- *HTML, CSS, Javascript, XML *PHP (or .Net) Perl, SQL, Web 2.0 , SOAP / REST *Linux / Unix (or Windows) *Microsoft products This is a three month contract.
