We have been reviewing our records of Council Housing recently - they include cottage tenements built in 1902 by Wolverhampton Borough (and demolished in the late 20th century). We are told that this was very early for a municipal housing scheme (the next one in Wolverhampton wasn't until 1919). I wondered if anyone else had records of Council Housing from a similar early period?
