If you have a
background in GIS and you are either currently selling or you’ve sold in the
past this opportunity is for you. Your
sales experience could have evolved from presales support or maybe
telemarketing but now you’re looking for a proper grownup sales opportunity
where you’re running your own patch and building solid client relationships.
You’ll be
offered all the support and training necessary to build your professional
selling skills and territory management knowledge whilst you’re learning the
ropes.
You’ll be
selling into both new customers and existing accounts and the client’s range of
solutions address the data capture, digital survey, data validation and land
information markets which are key elements within the expanding GIS/LIS
industry.
You’ll be assigned
a high yielding and easily manageable territory which is unlikely to require too
many nights away from home.
The Candidate Profile
The successful
individual needs to have a qualification in a geospatial discipline and be
capable of communicating in understandable terms with other professionals. We’d expect you to possess a confident,
personable style of communication which permits you to be equally at ease with
senior executives as it does with field-based personnel.
You must be a high
energy person and ambitious without being aggressive or domineering. Provided you are enthusiastic and committed, you
will succeed.
