GIS Consultant x 2 - Norway - £Neg - 1-2 Yeas work My client is currently seeking 2 GIS Consultants to be based in Norway. This is a great opportunity to find long term work. The contract will be 1 year with an option for a second year. Responsibilities are; Advise on seismic loading, be an expert on demand to assist other teams, provide desk side support and training, population and maintenance of asset teams application databases, update 2d/3d projects, coordinate data load and clean databases, coordinate data management, integration of databases provide user support for OpenWorks and Petrel. The qualifications and experience required is; Solid understanding of cartographic reference systems including importance for subsurface data, understanding of pre and post stack data, understanding of well data and loading experience, understanding of interpretation and field data, Landmark software on R5000 and OW20003 platforms, understanding of subsurface data types and how to move them between applications such as; Geoprobe, Paradigm, Explorer, RMS, Petrel, ODM etc, Familiarity with G&G workflows, subsurface project data handling - loading - cleansing, UNIX, Oracle, SQL, Microsoft.
