Dear All,

We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer in GIS and Planning whose teaching can contribute to our longstanding successful undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and whose research and enterprise interests complement those of staff across the School of Science and the Environment. The successful candidate will join the Division of Geography and Environmental Management which comprises staff with expertise in GIS, spatial modelling and analysis, remote sensing, sustainable development, and environmental planning and policy. The successful candidates will preferably possess expertise in sustainable transport, participatory GIS or spatial planning. Candidates should possess a PhD and relevant experience. Ideally, candidates will have experience of teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels and be able to contribute to the excellent research and enterprise profile of the School.
