**Apologies for cross postings** Dear colleagues JISC Collections is currently renegotiating its agreement with JSTOR, which licenses the resource at discounted subscription rates to museums and galleries in the UK. We have been running a pilot initiative with major national museums in London for the last three years, and are now keen to promote the deal to other institutions across the country. Institutions who have participated in the pilot include The V&A, Imperial War Museum, Tate and the National Portrait Gallery. All now consider JSTOR to be an indispensible online research resource for their staff and visitors that was previously beyond their budgets. JSTOR<http://www.jstor.org/> includes archives dating from as early as the 16th century of over 1200 leading academic journals across the humanities, social sciences and sciences, as well as other materials valuable for academic work. It includes a wealth of content relevant to museums and galleries, including archives of periodicals produced by the institutions themselves. Institutional subscriptions through JISC Collections for the entire JSTOR collection currently begin at £500 p.a. The more institutions who subscribe, the greater the potential for discounts.
