How do you know when your community engagement is effective?

By joining us on 1 March for Community Engagement: knowing when you are being effective find out with John Vincent and Cathy Herman how to build on your experience with community engagement and think through and develop the most appropriate evaluation methods for your organisation, your audience and the particular work you are undertaking.  The day is interactive and practical giving ample opportunity to learn and share with peers.

By the time you get back to your desk you will:

o          Understand the importance of evaluation

o          Understand different evaluation methods and their use

o          Gain a greater knowledge of the Generic Learning & Social Outcomes, and how they can help demonstrate impact

o          Understand how to analyse data to make best use of the results

Cathy Herman is an independent consultant with experience in delivering training in community engagement in the cultural and third sectors. She is also involved in learning and skills, health and local partnerships. John Vincent coordinates The Network, advocating the role of the cultural sector in social justice; disseminating information; and running training courses. He has worked in the public sector for many years, particularly with community-based library services

Cost: £125 plus VAT including all course materials, refreshments and 3 months post-course support.

Venue: The Jewish Museum, Raymond Burton House, 129-131 Albert St, Camden Town, NW1 7NB

If this course isn't for you, do look have a look at what else is planned on our website.  Interested? Then book online or call me on 07985 659425 for more information.

If you would like to develop the team in a way that's really focused on your organisation's needs then consider our in-house training packages too.  It's worth considering as a practical alternative when training, travel and subsistence budgets are reduced.

Kind regards,
