Dear Roger
Great that this is available, but like darkest rural England, the well-light antipodes seems to have problems also. Nothing happens when I go to the page.
Thanks

Hi Roger

Thanks for posting the link to the Raymond Tallis lecture. I am a great fan of his, and look forward to watching it.

Publishing such lectures on the internet is a huge step forward. But it would be really nice if one more small step could be taken. I live in darkest rural England where broadband is very narrow and unreliable. It is not possible to watch a video as it downloads. The ideal way for me to watch a lecture is to download it to my laptop, and replay it later offline. I suspect that there are copyright as well as technical reasons why you used a format which does not allow downloads. Nevertheless, I believe that the advantages of freeing up information greatly outweigh the risks to intellectual property rights.
