What is NET-STaR?

NET- STaR hosts a series of seminars funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The network will bring together leading representatives from across the academic, social policy and tourism sectors to discuss and develop the potential of tourism for regeneration and social policy.

NET-STaR will host six seminars over two years, and each seminar will discuss a different aspect of social tourism and regeneration. This first seminar, 'Mapping the territory: social tourism in regeneration and social policy will explore different interpretations of the concept of social tourism. The programme for the evening is outlined below. More information about the seminar series can be found at www.westminster.ac.uk/net-star.
