What I do is have the preview pane open at the bottom of the email page. Then you can read the email without actually opening it. So when I have read it I simply delete the email unless I am mad keen to follow up on something. Haven't had any problems with that on my problem prone computer. If you want to try it go to View, Layout, Show Preview Page, OK. Good luck DRNers. Too good a forum to miss something ... though I must say I do get a little irritated when someone posts to everyone that they can't attend some gathering or other ... but then that's my problem if I let it ... it only takes a millisecond to delete it. My Anti Virus knows that DRN emails are friendly so all go into my in box. However, not everyones works so well, so I can understand the wary. Perhaps this is a question to the new managers of the forum/ site... could there be an automatic Subject Header set up on the system that appears when we send emails through the forum? We are planning a nice group of activities to engage everybody in an unforgettable event. Soon a blog about the conference will be online. One way to get here is by having a paper accepted in the panel on Drawing in the following IADE/UNIDCOM international conference - www.iade.pt/unidcom/sslx <http://www.iade.pt/unidcom/sslx> - starting in October 6th. There will be a publication of full papers and doctoral students pay no fee.
