Why is the section so power less that it cant effect change in the BPS? Have you seen the recent stand against ECT ? If not I will send you the Daily Mail Link. This is really important and may well help push it at last into oblivion. I have certainly been able to use it to good effect locally. My view is that critical psychology in the UK seems to have become so critical it has disappeared up its own rhetoric? Possibly rather self indulgent and hopeless? Before you tell me - I get it that changing the BPS doesnt necessarily change much/Society. It is however one expression of our Society and it can be used for good or ill? iIl seems rather a good word given the preoccupation in many clin psychs with pathology. As you know I with Seligman in his renouncing of half baked psychology. Not Counting my blessings!
