Changing Platforms: Creating Effective Digital Content
15 March 2011
Royal College of Surgeons, London
10.30-16.30

Digital content plays a vital role in the work of museums and galleries, whether on websites and handheld devices or in gallery displays. But what are the best ways to create effective digital content across these various platforms? Speakers and consultants who have worked on a broad range of successful digital projects come together to discuss their experiences and highlight new developments.

They will share best practice to help you create user-friendly and engaging content. As well as tackling some of the basics of writing for the web, the event looks at developing e-learning tools, creating content for specific audiences, user-generated content, mobile platforms, developing games for galleries and how to make the best use of digital content across different platforms.
