Hi Chris,

At Portsmouth Equality and Diversity produce an annual report which has around 130 pages of appendices covering a wide variety of student and staff information.  It can be found here:

http://www.port.ac.uk/departments/services/equalityanddiversity/policiesreports/

We also have an analysis of the NSS, International student barometer and DLHE stats, although these analyses are not conducted by E&D.

I'd also be interested to see what other people are reporting on, and any additional considerations they are making with regards to the new duty.

Kind regards,

Dear all

I’m looking closely at what we report, when and to what aims for students at the University and thinking in terms of the new duties.  I wondered if anyone else would care to share what information/data they are already publishing and what changes they are thinking of making?

We currently analyse and publish the following (and look at it in terms of Gender, Ethnicity and Disability)

·         Application data and academic performance data

·         Degree awards (UG by degree class, PGT by pass/distinction and pass only for PGR).

·         Admissions data – applications, offers, acceptances.

·         Registrations.

·         Issues from student satisfaction survey

·         Attrition rates

Obviously we will want to extend this to as many of the characteristics as we have data for and I need to look more closely at benchmarking the data through HEIDI probably.

I’d be really grateful for any comments on this.

Many thanks
