Yn ôl a welaf i o’r we, dyma’r pedwar ffactor peryglus:

speeding, getting behind the wheel while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failing to wear a seatbelt [and] using a mobile phone.”

Angen rhagor o eglurhad.  Beth yw’r pedwar diffyg?  Os mai pethau fel cael lifft a^ rhywun meddw, peidio a chau’ch gwregys, gorlwytho car ydynt - ai “flaw” yw’r gair gorau? O ran hynny, sut maen nhw’n angheuol i’r gyfraith?  Efallai bod pob un o’r diffygion yn erbyn y gyfraith? Efallai byddai’r slogan yn well heb y “law”?

Oo! ‘dw i newydd gael syniad o Enid Blyton!  Beth am boster o weddillion car gwaedlyd, a’r slogan “The Adventurous Four Again”!

Efallai mai fi sy’n annheg, ond weithiau mae’n bosibl cael syniad arbennig o dda, nad yw cweit yn ffitio’r sefyllfa, ond eto mae mor dda fel ei bod hi’n anodd iawn llacio’ch gafael arno.  ‘Rwy’n amau mai am sefyllfaoedd fel hyn yr ysgrifennodd Syr Arthur Quiller-Couch ei gyngor i awduron: “murder your darlings” : “Whenever you feel an impulse to perpetrate a piece of exceptionally fine writing, obey it - whole-heartedly - and delete it before sending your manuscripts to press.”

Bore da bawb - enw ymgyrch y mae'r Adran Diogelwch ar y Ffyrdd yn gweithio arni - mae disgrifiad ohoni isod.  Byddem yn gwerthfawrogi unrhyw fflach o ysbrydoliaeth!

"I am currently working on a campaign/project aimed at teenage car passengers. It is going to be called 'Fatal Flaw' or 'Fatal 4law' which plays on the term of fatal four, which is the four most common causes of injury in road traffic collisions. How do you think these terms could work in Welsh? From a basic dictionary search I have come up with a translation of Diffyg Angheuol for Fatal Flaw, but I wondered if you could think of a way of including the '4'?!? "

Diolch yn fawr
