10th European Forum on Eco-Innovation

Dear All,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 10th European Forum on Eco-Innovation, to be held in Birmingham, UK, on 22 and 23 March 2011.

The theme of the forum is: "Towards a Resource-Efficient Economy: From Policy to Action".

This forum will be jointly organised by the UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the European Commission, Directorate-General for the Environment with the support of The Technology Strategy Board, West Midlands European Service and Birmingham City Council.

The forum will gather together key players from business, academia, finance, policy and green groups. It will present business case studies on sustainable material management, encourage innovation through cross fertilisation between disciplines and sectors, and identify and prioritise the key issues that need to be addressed by Government and EU action. The forum will propose priority areas for future action on material security and resource efficiency and will help to shape future Research Councils and EU calls.

Please note that attendance at the Forum is upon registration only and that the European Commission does not reimburse any expenses. For the programme, more information and to register, please click here.
