The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is one of the world’s largest professional engineering institutions. We have 150,000 members across 127 countries.

The IET has a strong commitment to supporting STEM education through facilitating and resourcing teachers, delivering and supporting STEM enhancement and enrichment activities, influencing policy and enabling our members to interact with schools.

A key part of the Education 5-19 portfolio is the IET Faraday programme – a range of multi-media teaching resources, publications and interactive presentations and challenges. These are originated by the IET with the intention of getting the best of engineering and technology before teachers and students and to encourage more students to study STEM courses and consider careers in the engineering and technology sectors.

We are looking to recruit someone to the role of an Education Manager to manage and develop this part of the Education portfolio and to work within the Education team to contribute to meeting all of the IET’s Education objectives.

The IET offers employees a wide range of benefits including, amongst others, free parking, free lunches, health care top-up and pension contributions.
