It offers "Help with your travel cost". It also states "All volunteers are required to have a background check through the Criminal Records Bureau." My guess is that many people here have experience of CRB checks? Do they cost money? If so, do applicants for this one have to pay for their own check? On internships in general, recent discussion in another place suggests that anyone hiring interns is legally required to pay at least the minimum wage. Then again, it seems that many law firms don't bother to follow the law, so that it probably a toothless threat.
