Hi

I have a gentleman you has genetic hearing loss affecting both ears. he has been provided with 2 hearing aids, though he can only tolerate 1. he was diagnosed with hearing condition at the age of 14 and he is now in his 40's. he is feeling alone and isolated though he can hear speech with the use of 1 hearing aid. i have given him suggested where he can gain support regarding his hearing loss - RNID and Access to Work. i have sent him back to his GP as he is clearly depressed.

his big concern is the general noise (FLT, colleagues etc) within the warehouse and what i am wondering is there anyway that this can be reduced or any equipment which may be of assistance.

Your thoughts would be appreciated

Tracey
