Danny My point was that Fabrica people physically write their tweets on a wall with pens; not electronically. It's become a neat and simple point of contact between the staff members, with plenty of jokes too. Tate replaced the postcard-comments room at the Turner Prize with a twitterfall this year, and it was so much duller. Also, if you've ever experienced the Dana Centre's live event twitterfall it mostly consists of hashtagged complaints about the acoustics. Don't do it! It's an interesting twist on hidden digital networking - making it real! One of the things that occurs to me is that Twitter is a fantastic way of letting your colleagues know what you are doing especially if you worked at an enormous institution like the V&A for example. Otherwise everyone just carries on working in Silos! I wonder if any 'Big' organidations are encouraging their staff to use Twitter? Getting access for two of us took a long time and I think it is only us plus our two marketing staff tweeting has reassured IT that the day will be "safe". The rest of the museum staff having view only access came as a pleasant surprise to us. At last our colleagues can see what we are doing and at least for today participate. If you are on Twitter do please join in and any thoughts on or off list are welcome.
