The study day will cover the national and local perspective of the QIPP and "Cost and Quality" initiatives. It will feature presentations by: * Anne Weist from NHS Evidence on the work of the QIPP team at NHS Evidence * Mahmood Adil from the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement will discuss the evidence base needed for Cost and Quality * Ray Foley (Service Improvement Practitioner) from Derby Hospital will provide a case study of "doing more for less" in practice There will also be an opportunity for group discussion about supporting library and information service users in meeting these challenges. It will be held at the Lecture Theatre at Derby Hospital, 10 am - 4.00 pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Cost is £60+VAT for IFMH Subscriber Members, otherwise £80+VAT.
