The following visit is being organised by the Career Development Group (NW division)and would be particularly suitable for chartership and ACLIP candidates who owould like to visit a library in a different sector.
Visit to the John Rylands University Library of Manchester, University of Manchester (Oxford Road site). March 16th 2011 2.00pm
There will be a tour of the Library which has recently undergone a major refurbishment on the ground floor and is one of the most extensive and well resourced University Libraries in the country.
The tour would be particularly useful for Chartership candidates.
Refreshments will be provided and the tour is expected to last no longer than two hours.
