Dear all,

I have been tasked on finding articles relating to anger behaviours as an addiction. I have found papers linking anger with addiction behaviours like substance abuse but not anything that by itself studies could anger be addictive. There are lots of articles out there about this by respected behaviourists and counsellors stating anger can become an addiction in itself... I wrote them and asked where they got their evidence for this assumption and they have none. Some treatment in the military is based on the battle fatigue, need for an adrenaline high with excitement or anger but again general information.

I checked medline, Google scholar, APA /BPS journals, Science Direct using search terms anger, addiction> angry behaviours, addiction.>violence, addiction, >adrenaline ,anger addiction> anger habits. anger>compulsion . Would anyone have any ideas on this, even more effective search terms would help...

I also need evidence I can give to explain precisely why injecting autologous stem cells grown out in culture into the brain of a teenager  would be extremely dangerous and has long term implications regarding cell regulation processes. Parents seem fine with risking systemic infection, wasting their money and going to providers in other countries with no track record. They are pointed to safe animal studies and distracted by big pharma conspiracy theories. I have tried ISSR  and the FDA but they seem to think their general cautions are sufficient in the face of  desperate parents. If I explain people have died and there are tumour reports they respond with those people were sick anyway, no one can prove it was the stem cells  and the classic  won’t happen to me...If anyone has a particularly graphic paper that would be most helpful

Best regards,

Amy
