Teachers of Academic Writing in EAP who have used my textbook 'Academic Writing - A Handbook for International Students' will know that it aims to cater for students across all academic disciplines, and to be used both in the classroom and for self-study. Following an extensive review process with teachers around the world a third edition will be published next week. This has been fully revised and updated, with a strong emphasis on avoiding plagiarism and developing critical approaches in both reading and writing.
