Steve

There is supposed to be guidance on the planning portal, but the link I
have no longer works...

The guidance I have received from the ICO is that non-essential personal
information should not be published - that would include signature,
telephone number, and email address as well as anything extra within the
text of the letter (particularly health information).

Subject: [data-protection] Planning Objection Letters and Data
Protection

Morning,

Can anyone point me to a concise 'idiots guide' with regards to Data
Protection and Planning information law?

Our planning section currently release 'all and sundry' regarding
applications and objection letters, including signatures and phone
numbers. I am uneasy about this as I think it is excessive and it
doesn't add any value to the objection or anything else. However if we
are allowed to do then I suppose there's not a lot I can do.

Many thanks
Steve
