Emerging Artist Award 2011 as part of Digital Stages Festival 2011 The Digital Stages Emerging Artist Award will celebrate the work of emerging artists which demonstrate an exploration of any area of digital performance. We invite submissions for artworks which explore new media in the context of performative installation art and use digital technology as an integral part of the creative/presentation process. Artworks must be able to be installed within a gallery space and have a durational or looping timing. Artists must be based in East London and have been showing professional works for less than five years. Artworks must not have been created as part of an undergraduate or post-graduate degree project.
