> To mark the quatercentenary of the Authorized Version of the Bible, Cambridge University Library is staging an exhibition, entitled GREAT AND MANIFOLD BLESSINGS: THE MAKING OF THE KING JAMES BIBLE, for the next five months.

> The exhibits comprise archives, manuscripts and printed books and are drawn from the Library’s own historic collections and from those of the Bible Society, which have been held at Cambridge since 1985.

> They include several biblical treasures, among them two fourth-century leaves of St John's Gospel in Coptic, eighth-century Gospels in Anglo-Saxon script, an eleventh-century Psalter in Latin and Old English, and fifteenth-century Wycliffite Bibles.
> 
> The exhibition runs between 18 January and 18 June (apart from 22-25 April). Opening times are Monday-Friday 09.00-18.00, Saturday 09.00-16.30, Sunday closed. Admission is free.
