Curation Tools & Services Developer
Salary: £29,853 to £35,646 per annum
The
Digital Curation Centre (DCC) wishes to appoint a Curation Tools and Services
Developer to undertake the development and maintenance of the DCC's online
tools and resources, including the DCC website. Principal duties will
comprise the maintenance and enhancement of existing and forthcoming DCC web
applications and the DCC website infrastructure, co-ordination with external
bodies in their integration and deployment of DCC tools and applications,
support to the JISC cloud services team in enabling the deployment of DCC
applications in the cloud, the planned development of new DCC tools and
applications.
Other
duties will support the DCC's engagement with the research and data curation
communities and our goal to equip them with appropriate tools and resources.
This
post will be based at the University of Edinburgh but will form part of the
integrated DCC team, activities may therefore be undertaken in collaboration
with staff from the DCC's other two partner sites (Bath and Glasgow).
