4 Postdoctoral/instructor level positions available at Childrens’ Hospital Boston/HMS There are four positions currently available for the MEG/MRI Programs of the Center for Developmental Science at CHB/HMS. (1) Laboratory manager – this is for a person at the instructor level who will manage the MEG laboratory at half time and carry out his/her own research at half time. Should have PhD in biomedical, electrical or computer engineering, or neurosciences with experiences in electrophysiology, EEG or MEG and preferably in MRI. This person will work directly with Yoshio Okada. (2) Postdoctoral position for a person who will work with Matti Hämäläinen, MGH/Martinos MEG Core Director, and Yoshio Okada, CHB/MEG program, to extend the existing data acquisition software, to help develop data analysis software for the prototype pediatric MEG system (babySQUID I) and the whole-head system (babySQUID II) to carry out research using these tools. Should have PhD in biomedical, electrical or computer engineering preferably with experiences in electrophysiology, EEG, MEG, and MRI. This person will receive a joint appointment at CHB and MGH. (3) Postdoctoral position for a person who will work with Matti Hämäläinen to help develop the software for functional brain connectivity analysis and to apply the tool for research with the BS I and II. Should have PhD in biomedical, electrical or computer engineering, or neurosciences with experiences in electrophysiology, EEG, MEG, and MRI. This person will receive a joint appointment at CHB and MGH. (4) Postdoctoral position for a person who will work with Ellen Grant, Director of the CHB Center, on developing tools for structural brain connectivity analysis with MR-based tractography and to apply the tools to study the development of brain connectivity in babies. This person will work with the members of the Center to combine structural and functional brain connectivity analyses. Should have PhD in biomedical, electrical or computer engineering, physics, or neurosciences preferably with experiences in electrophysiology, EEG, MEG, and MRI.
