For all you GEMmers out there still at work, just a reminder that Renaissance South East and Strategic Commissioning are offering FREE places on their training course: Working with Young People on 14 January at Chatham in Kent.
The day has an exciting line up including a practical workshop on how to listen to young people's ideas, a session from HLF on Young Roots funding and contributions from Chatham Dockyard, Brighton Musuem, The Lightbox and The Mighty Creatives. It includes a lunchtime "participant showcase" where colleagues will have tabletop space and be able to browse each others' "stalls". In addition, both V inspired and the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme will be represented in the "showcase" which will give a good opportunity for participants to find out more about their work and ask more detailed questions.
