Dear All,

Not exactly gLite. We have a CMS server with 6x1.5TB = 7.8TB RAID0 (CMS
needs fast I/O). They want more space & we've got an Adaptec 39320A
Ultra320 Dual Channel SCSI controller PCI-X to put in the server.

For SCSI-SATA RAID arrays, we've had Transtec (rebadged Infotrend =
EonStor) in the past & it was somewhat good & somewhat not: their hardware
was faulty & it was a battle of months to get them to exchange it. Once
exchanged, it's been faultless & performs well. So they're a known evil.

There are a few others out there still providing SCSI-attached SATA RAID
storage: ProWare, RAIDKing, EUROstor... but they're unknown quantity.
Anyone heard of them or have experience (good or bad) with any of them?

Recommendations or warnings most welcome. I'm hunting reviews to see if
anyone's put some reviews online...
