Thank you so much for your advice.
but maybe i should reintroduced my question...

i have done the statistic result and obtained the t-map after DARTEL procedure. (VBM8: Estimates & writes-->DARTEL:Create Template-->Normalize to MNI space)
but i want to overlap these significant region to my customized group T1 template (average T1 template @ MNI Space)
(in order to report my results)
so...i think i should combime the following transform matrix to apply deformation to each subject T1 (then do average to get template).....

          1                   2                             3
Native--->Rigid align--->DARTEL Template--->MNI
        

if i'm right...the flow field (u_rc1) stands for "Rigid align-->DARTEL"
rc1/rc2/rc3 (rigid aligned segments) can be obtained by the VBM8 toolbox
but i don't know how can i produce rigid align T1 image....

Hi Chu-Chung
you can use the module Run DARTEL (create Templates), in order to create your customized template. Here you should introduce in 'images' the rc*.nii files. I recommend you use one image channel for each tissue class: rc1, rc2...
These rc* files are created during segmentation (If using the New Segment tool; you should ask for the Native+DARTEL import).

About the module Normalize to MNI space, you can normalize the images from native to the MNI space, but prior to do it, you have to run Run DARTEL (create Templates). This is because in this last module you will be asked about the DARTEL template (here you insert the Template_6.nii) and for the flow fields (the u_rc*.nii files).

Dear all

i am trying to create a customized T1 template from DARTEL procedure

in spm5, i can use "Deformation" tool to combine u_rc1.nii and template_sn.m then apply this deformation to native space T1

but there is no template_sn.m in spm8

how should i create the DARTEL T1 template in spm8?

can i also use "Normalize to MNI space" to normalize native space T1?
