Dear Klaas and DCMers,

I used the DCM to provide an insight into connectivities among some interesting regions. The modulatory effects of two conditions were described in the attached picture. A solid lines indicated the modulatory effect on the connection was significant, whereas a dotted line indicated the modulatory effect on the connection wasn’t significant (according to one sample t test). Figures gave out parameters of modulatory effects.

According to my coarse interpretation, the modulatory effect of condition one (above) reduces the connectivity among three regions compared to the intrinsic connectivity, whereas the modulatory effect of condition two (below) retains the connectivity among three regions.

I am not confident in my interpretation. Because papers I read before always reported positive parameters. However, my results included many negative parameters and non-significant parameters. Does that mean my results are very bad? Is there any means of redress?

Best Wishes!
