Mike I seem to remember an article in this collection that treats your theme, though I'm not sure which of the contributions is most on point: http://www.mla.org/store/CID5/PID196 <http://www.mla.org/store/CID5/PID196&pdetails=1> &pdetails=1 Milla Riggio, ed. It will compare the possibilities/limitations of adapting Shakespeare for film and television. I know I have read things like this from time to time and years ago, but I cannot remember where. It would be even better if it compared TV, film, and the stage. Any useful suggestions will be appreciated. all the best, Mike Jensen author site: www.michaelpjensen.com <http://www.michaelpjensen.com/>
