I take this opportunity to remind all that there is a link to Genevra's image archive on the medrelart site. While we're talking pictures, I've started a "France" page because I expect to do a drive through that country in the spring, camera at the ready. Some albums have already been moved and arranged in alphabetical order. So if some of your favorite albums seem to have vanished, they've just been moved.

I have returned from Europe with hundreds of new photographs, which I will be posting to my archive as and when I can. These will include everything from well-known items like the tunic of Balthild at Chelles to a belt buckle with jousting knights in the applied arts museum in Budapest. Unless people on the list object, I will send you occasional updates of images newly available.
Unfortunately in my absence someone has hacked my web site, inserting links presumably meant to direct readers to less benign locations. Those links have now all been removed, and the site is totally innocuous. But until Google has verified that the site is clean (which may take them weeks), my images will not appear in a Google search.
Until I am reinstated by Google, you will need to either use a different search engine or go directly to the site to find what you need.
