Dear Media Arts and Dance members,

What is communicationspace?

Communicationspace is a multidimensional, online network for scholars
and research communities in media and communication studies. It has been
created for students and researchers to network and share research,
resources and debates. The site is open to anyone studying or
researching in media studies, mass communication, journalism, new media,
game studies, interpersonal communication and the many other
communication studies fields.

Join communicationspace today to -

*	Browse Raymond Boyle's top ten reading recommendations on media
and sport
*	Connect with other researchers and discuss your research
interests
*	Read Joanna Zylinska's comments on Melissa Gregg's article on
academic blogging
*	Review and post jobs
*	Keep up with announcements in the field - such as call for
papers and funding opportunities
*	Comment on Liesbet van Zoonen's article on reality TV
*	Join and / or start groups
*	Engage with featured content such as key articles, podcasts and
videos

What you can do on communicationspace

Start by creating and personlizing your own page with your profile,
research interests, podcasts and videos. Why not launch an interest
group for your field, research group, society, division or department -
and be sure to invite people to join. Start a blog; upload poster
presentations, podcasts and videos; post and search job listings; create
open and closed discussions; check out teaching resources and share
course outlines and syllabi; add your own Top Ten list; and view, post,
and RSVP to upcoming meetings.
