Dear MCG,

You may already be aware of this, but I thought it might be useful to
flag up that you can respond to the DCMS 4-yr Business Plan, including
the specific proposals around museums on the Number 10 website:

http://transparency.number10.gov.uk/transparency/srp/view-srp/34/25

If you have a chance, please do take the time to comment. The comments
are being read and fed to Ministers, and the lack of response from our
sector is at risk of being taken as assent to what is happening with
museum funding. Please note also that there are relevant sections of the
Plan which will also have an impact on museum funding, such as the
provisions for Copyright under '2. Create conditions for growth'.

Please do pass this message on to colleagues not represented on this
list.

Very best regards,

Nick
