Federico Luisetti is Associate Professor of 
Italian Studies, Comparative Literature and 
Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
  He is the author of the monographs Una vita. 
Che cosa significa pensare dopo Bergson e 
Deleuze? (Mimesis, forthcoming in April 2011), 
Estetica dell’immanenza. Saggi sulle parole, le 
immagini e le macchine (Aracne, 2008), and Plus 
Ultra. Enciclopedismo barocco e modernità 
(Trauben,  2001). He has recently edited with 
Luca Somigli a special issue on Italian Futurism 
of the journal Annali d'Italianistica, volume 27, 
2009: A Century of Futurism: 1909-2009.
