The Hydrogeology Group of the Geological Society of London is organising a one day meeting on Wednesday 9th February 2011 at Burlington House with the theme “The Transport and Fate of Groundwater Contaminants”. The meeting intends to examine key transport and attenuation processes and current issues relating to contaminants in groundwater and how our perceptions and understanding of the problems and their solutions have progressed. A provisional programme is attached.
Registration costs: Members £20, Non-members £40.00, Students £5. Drinks reception £8. Pay on the door. Coffee, tea and biscuits provided. Pre-registration is required for this meeting. To register, send an email entitled ‘Transport and Fate of Groundwater Contaminants‘ to Carole Sharratt, British Geological Survey ([log in to unmask]) indicating: (i) name, (ii) affiliation, (iii) Geol Soc membership (if applicable).
