Dear Colleagues,
even on behalf of the other Conveners,
I am pleased to advertise n.5 scientific sessions (cf. list below), which
are being organized at EGU-2011 and GEOITALIA-2011.
The main topics of the sessions are:
- landslide forecasting, monitoring and modeling, and related approaches to
hazard evaluation and mitigation;
- sinkhole susceptibility, risk evaluation and mapping;
- modeling of dangerous phenomena, and innovative techniques for hazard
evaluation and risk mitigation.
We would be glad if you considered submitting an Abstract on your studies
related to the topic of the sessions.
After the Conferences, the Authors of the studies actually presented (either
as oral or poster) will be invited to submit full papers, which will be
considered for publication (through standard peer-review) in a guest-edited
Special Issue of a relevant International Journal.
