Funded CPD opportunity from Campaign for Learning in partnership with MLA

 

What:  Commissioning for Changing Times

Commissioning for Changing Times is a series of free training offers for children's workforce and cultural sector professionals, run by the Campaign for Learning and funded by the MLA Strategic Commissioning CPD programme.

This important free training event will bring together the youth and cultural sectors to explore the opportunities that strategic commissioning and collaborative working bring to help ensure sustainability during a tough economic climate.  It will address:

 

  • What is Local Authority strategic commissioning and why is it important?
  • How to make strategic commissioning in partnership a reality
  • The tricks of writing a successful tender
  • Ways to position services and market your offer to commissioners and funders
  • ‘Realising the possible’ through inspiring good practice from the sector
