Free training day Engaging adult audiences Renaissance South East Date: Wednesday 1st December 2010 Time: 10.00 to 16.00 Venue: Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford Places are still available on the free training day provided by Renaissance South East on engaging adult audiences through programmes, courses and events. The key note presentation for this day will be given by Tricia Hartley, CEO of Campaign for Learning. Tricia is passionate about the power of learning and has always worked in the education sector. After fifteen years in FE with responsibility for Skills for Life, widening participation and community, she spent two years as Lifelong Learning Manager in a small but dynamic Local Authority. She joined the Campaign for Learning in 2003. The day will develop with practical and useful sessions on how to: € work with Adult Education providers on Skills for Life € develop successful courses for adults € consult adult audiences € develop engaging events € deepen adult engagement with collections and stories Contributors are: Oxford University Museums, The Ashmolean Museum, Weald and Downland Museum, Jocelyn Goddard (Heritage Consultant) and Jane Austen House.
