The problem with water testing is that it takes three weeks to grow a
culture in laboratory conditions. I know because we have an on-going
issue with water borne problems which needs constant treatment with
silver peroxide. We have to close the showers down for three week
periods while we wait for cultures to be grown. I cannot even begin to
tell you how much that annoys the faculty.

Robin.

Subject: WATER RISK ASSESSMENT

Good afternoon,

We have a new water risk assessment conducted every two years under the
L8 regs. Despite reminding the company I use, they have missed their
slot so it expires tomorrow. Not very happy as you can imagine - also
the price they are charging and about 3 weeks to do the survey and
produce the report is unsatisfactory.

Does anyone use a good water risk assessment company then could
recommend please. I know there are lots out there, but I have only ever
used one.

Thanks
