Hi

Can anyone help me with regard to access arrangements and City and Guilds, I am very confused as to what we have to ask them for and what we can grant ourselves. On reading their guidance and regulations to candidates who are eligible for adjustments in assessment they appear to contradict themselves.  Page 9 the synopsis of access arrangements it states that we have to apply to then for permission for a reader, but page 48 says that for externally verified qualifications we only need to inform the EV of any concessions.

What I really need to know is if we have candidates taking online tests for hair, plumbing, or electrics do we need to apply to C&G for permission for a reader.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards
